HOW TO GET A POLICE CERTIFICATE IN RIYADH, S. A.? « Thread Started on Apr 7, 2009, 2:46am »
Hi, I badly need anyone's help and ask if anyone have any idea on how to get a police certificate in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia because my husband worked there for 2 years and went back to the Philippines and I am sponsoring him, when he was in Riyadh, he tried to get one, but they are giving him a hard time and ended on not having one. And then I called Immigration Canada about the situation and they told me that it's one of the requirements to acquire one and told me to check on the website on what to do, I emailed the riyadh.visa@international.gc.ca, but it was returned (Delivery Notification Failure). Please if anyone know how to get one.. please helllllp me .. I appreciate your kind help and care.. God Bless you all..
One of the requirements for the Police Clearance is the IQAMA. If your husband is not an Iqama-holder anymore and is outside Saudi Arabia then he will NOT be able to get a Police Clearance.

Hi, thanks for the reply, no he's not in riyadh anymore and he's back in Philippines since january 09.
Thank God, I just called the immigration today and explained myself about getting a police certificate in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, she told me that i could send my application for the sponsorship of my husband without including the police certificate that came from riyadh coz we can't get one, she(immigration agent-1888-242-2100) told me that the immigration will check if he still need to get one, and if he still need one, they will send a request letter that this person has to get a Police Cert. that you should send to Saudi Arabia embassy. But when i have to submit the application i need to include a letter stating that we didn't include a police certificate in Saudi Arabia coz we are waiting for their decision. And well she did answer my question and I do hope that this will help other members who are trying to get one and they are not legal residents in saudi.

Hi everyone,
I am based in Dubai, UAE and I previously worked in Saudi Arabia for 2 years. We applied for Police Clearance in Saudi Embassy- Dubai last Feb 2009 but unfortunately we did not received any reply till now. On Sept 2010 we have requested CIC Abu Dhabi to waive the Saudi PCC. Now, we received email from CIC saying that they still require Saudi PCC.

It is true that its very difficult to get police clearance in ksa. it could be process via Saudi Embassy in the Phils. but you need to get the letter from CIC manila requesting such document. cause our experience was (myself and husband since our 3 children are below 15 yrs old), London visa ofc sent us police clearance form, yet when we reach the foreign affairs of jeddah, they told us to get the form from canadian consulate here in jeddah. so we went to canadian consulate then get their own form with assignatory of their present officer,then went back to foreign affairs, just for the stamp of the form before submitting to central police station ofc, had our finger prints then they gave us claim stub to claim it after 3 weeks cause they said they have to send it to Riyadh ofc. and all these process we have a friend who is a Saudi citizen (with Navy experience for 15 yrs) to help us through the process. Indeed it was toxic and quite difficult with gender segregation for each offices. However I thank God for helping us and sending His angels to guide us through.. I hope this shed some light. for KSA applicant or with KSA employment history.

@nesordxd , ralph's commemt above applies to you also. Kailangan explain lang in clearly at in writing na nag Exit nas kayo fro Saudi Arabia and that you cannot obtain a police clearance since only those with residence permit/iqama are allowed to enter the country and therefore allowed to get police clearance directly.
For ladies naman needing police clearance and are based in Riyadh. meron ladies section sa police headquarters near Bathanto service your needs ok. Just be sure you are accompanied and use a pinoy taxi driver lang ok.

@ J7, thank you for the reply. But if you check with CIC website, “certificates are available only to CURRENT and PAST LEGAL RESIDENT”. May be there are some applicant outside KSA able to get PCC in the Saudi Embassies. In my case, we applied thru the KSA Embassy – Dubai but unfortunately we did not received any response for the last 18 months. The same situation we clearly explained with CIC but still they require the PCC. Again, we went to the KSA Embassy-Dubai and tried to submit a fresh application for the PCC but they told me they are no longer issuing PCC here and we were advised to go to Phil Embassy.
If I will go to KSA (will try to arrange KSA Visa with agencies or Hotels), considering that I don’t have valid residence permit/iqama, is there any possibility to obtain the said certificate?

@nesordxb, you better ask si desertnomad as I think he might have an idea how to get one pero that is for residents who already here in Canada. Your case is similar pero different by region lang. Both of us are also concerned / apprehensive that they might not accept our existing Saudi PCC, one's we obtained before we went here... so medyo hanap den kami alternative solution hindi lang para sa inyo guys but for us also just in case. Hope meron tayong kasama dito who was able to obtain a Saudi PCC while outside KSA.

My advise is for you to gather all you evidences (email, receipt from Saudi Embassy, etc) when you applied for PCC thru Saudi Embassy-Dubai. Attached a letter of explanation detailing the sequence of your PCC applicaton with the proofs.
Did you send any proofs/evidence that you applied for PCC with the Saudi Embassy when you send your previous letter of explanation?

I worked in Saudi Arabia for 18 yrs. and 2 yrs. in Kuwait prior to coming here. I submitted only NBI & Kuwait Police clearance and letter stating that I will not be able to submit Saudi police clearance they are only issuing to current residents.
Based on desertnomad post as per cic website: I think there's a way now to get a clearance.
Two years ago and nakalagay lang sa website, Saudi Arabia: Yes for current residents only.
To be honest, looking on the Saudi Embassy website requirements and procedures "Madugo"
