Apply thru agency - Enhance Immigration « Thread Started on Jun 10, 2010, 10:58am »
I've been lurking in this forum for quite a while now and finally we have decided to migrate.
Unfortunately, we don't belong on the priority list for FSW as me and my husband were just commerce graduates without any work experience as we put up our own business for 8 years.
We don't have any relatives in Canada and we really wanted and eager to leave within this year or earlier next year.
We plan on applying thru enhanceimmigration.com. I already have visited their office and already got assessed.
We will be on AEO, their professional fee is 75,000 and since we're a family of 5, includes 3 children, total payment would be 175,000.
Do you think we've made the best decision on trusting this agency for our settlement their in Canada? We will be acquiring their extended services as well for accommodating us from arrival to processing of sin, bank accounts, etc. thru their representative.
They have money back provisions which includes embassy fees so I think this is the best route we got.
What do you think? Need your opinion guys. I will be paying them by tomorrow for the initial deposit so processing will start. Hope to hear from anyone...

Since you do not belong to the priority list of FSW, your only other feasible option is the AEO, and it will be difficult to get an AEO without an agency. So yes, i think this would be the best route for you.
You should probably do some research first regarding the agency, to check if there are no hidden fees (like salary deductions, etc.). Try to get an opinion from somebody who has availed of their services. Good luck!

Sla yung agents namin in Cebu. I would say they we're competent but iba kasi case namin FSW so wala sla halos naging problema sa amin. We only decided to get their services kasi wala talaga kami time nun sa sobrang busy namin with work. In your case AEO di ko alam kung ano ang track record nla. With regards to "extended services" ang alam ko they ask for volunteers from their clients already abroad to help you out. You should make sure they really have a point man na accountable to the company talaga if your paying for that service. If this is true, it sounds good on paper kasi you mentioned even accomodation dba? How long will they be accomodating you, wala ba rent, utilities, etc? This are some of the questions you should ask. The other things you mentioned (bank accounts, SIN), nobody really can help you with that because that is personal muna. Kahit sa pinas pa you cant ask somebody to open an account for you. So bka marketing gimik lng nla yan.
However, that is further along the road pa and right now, if your concern is if they are a credible agency, then I would say yes. Kahit na yung doctor who handles medical exam for Canadian Immigrant applicants in Cebu is sla ang agent na kinuha.
PS: Ano ba yung 175 thousand na fee nla? Handling fee lng ba yun nla?

sorry now lang ako nakabalik, yung family friend na kasi namin nag asikaso ng papers namin and provincial nominee na yung category namin and di na kami natuloy sa enhance
regarding aeo sa enhance, if I were you, wag kayo kukuha nitong service nato sa kanila although di ko talaga natry pero on the time na kasi na magbabayad na sana kami kinausap ko yung ibang consultant nila and nagpaexplain ako sa scenario ng aeo nila if guaranteed ba talaga
ang mangyayari pala, after paying, you will be given login details dun sa site nila and andun mga resources on how to find an aeo so ikaw yung maghahanap ng employer mo using their tools and resources, ang pagka akala ko kasi before sila magbibigay sayo ng employer and guaranteed na yung aeo, eh hindi pala, kung kelan ka makakita ng employer nasa sayo yun kung swertihin ka sa pag apply, bale magiging guide lang sila
eh kung tutuusin, marami namang resources din online to apply for those employers
so either way, di sya maganda since walang guarantee sa 2 options, di mo alam kung kelan ka pa kaya or sila makahanap ng employer

Mariz, Thank you for sharing this information. I met Paul Doumont of Enhance during his seminar/ orientation in Doha, Qatar. AEO was quite appealing to hear (at that time) coz it gives new hope for those who are not qualified in NOC priority list. But having read this thread, nagsesecond thought na ako to push AEO. Before I was stumbled in this thread, I have been searching about how to start with MPNP. Can you please enlighten me? Currently, im working in administration dept. in Saudi Arabia and my husband is c. engineer. One year pa lang kami rito but I feel that the earlier to apply the better. I would be glad if anyone could share us how to be qualified for the provincial nominee? Thank you so much in advance for the reply. God bless!
